1. Orientation of Faculty

Orienting of new faculty to the Cumberland University academic system and community is an important endeavor. The School Dean, Program Directors, and fellow faculty members play important roles in this process with the primary responsibility of orientation resting with the Vice President for Academic Affairs.

As is appropriate based on individual situations, the prospective faculty member will be given access to the Faculty Handbook during the interview process. The contents may be discussed in summary with special consideration given to topics that are case pertinent.
