Policy Provisions
1. Maintenance Work Order Requests

All requests to the Department of Physical Plant for work to buildings, grounds, and equipment maintenance should be submitted via the electronic request form found on the Intranet. As standard practice, all requests will be acknowledged by the end of the next working day. Additional notification will be provided upon job completion. Work requests will be prioritized based on the following criteria: safety and health, stoppage in work, order of submission, and general need. All requests involving elective improvements or enhancements will require approval of the Executive Director of Facilities and Safety. You may submit maintenance request via the facilities maintenance request bullet located on the front page of the Cumberland University intranet page.
