Policy Provisions
1. At-Will Employment

Employment with Cumberland University is at will, which means either you or the University can discontinue the employment relationship at any time, for any reason not otherwise prohibited by federal, state, or local law.

No Cumberland University employee, administrator, manager, director, or individual Board member, other than the President or the entire Board of Trust, has the authority to enter into any oral, written, express, or implied employment agreements.
