MAT 410 Geometries

From Euclid to Einstein: This course is designed to provide an overview of various types of geometries including, but not limited to Euclidean, non-Euclidean, projective, affine, finite. Geometry will be viewed through the lens of synthetic, axiomatic, and transformational approaches. Interactive geometry software will be used extensively. This fulfills the writing-intensive requirement. Prerequisite: MAT 191 or permission of the instructor. It is offered in the Fall semester.
