ENG 227 Women & Wrtg (Later Periods)

Examines a range of artistic works produced by women after 1800. Readings may include various genres such as the novel, drama, poetry, nonfiction prose, film, and/or music. Course focuses on how women?s experiences and their artistic responses are shaped by conditions such as ethnicity, geography, politics, class, sexual orientation, work, education, and physical ability.
