ENG 210 Survey of Brit Lit I

Building upon ENG 112's (or 114's) emphasis on literary genres and interpretive methods, Survey of British Literature I continues to prepare students for literary study at the 300 level. Through the study of a range of texts, students will become better acquainted with significant movements and periods in British literary history to late eighteenth century. Transatlantic and global literary and cultural relations will be explored. English and English Adolescence Education majors are required to take ENG 210, ENG 211 or ENG 212 and are urged to do so in the second year. Prerequisite: ENG 112 or 114.
