AHI 380 Special Topics in Art History

The purpose of this course is to provide an in-depth study of a particular theme in art history. This course is intended to increase the variety and flexibility of courses offered in art history by providing students and faculty with an opportunity to explore a topic not available as part of the regular course offerings. As an upper-level course, this course will emphasize the reading and assessment of scholarly sources and advanced analytical, research, and writing skills. Prerequisites: AHI 101, AHI 208, AHI 247, and one of AHI 211, AHI 238, AHI 285, AHI 295, or AHI 298, or permission of the instructor.
