Policy Provisions

1. Private Rooms

The only guaranteed private rooms are located in the Commons Villages, reserved for upperclass students, These spots are limited and may not be available at the time of application and/or assignment.

2. Double Rooms as Privates

The Office of Residence Life cannot determine until the 15th day of classes each semester if individuals will be able to buy double rooms as privates in other halls. Because of this, students should not make plans to live in a private room.

3. Assignment of Private Rooms (if Available)

If there is availability in private rooms or if double rooms become available to be privates, assignment to those rooms will be based upon the date a student applied for Residence Life assignment, all Residence Life fees were paid, and provided the student made the request for a private room on their Residence Life Application. There is no guarantee, either written or implied, about private room availability.
