Policy Provisions

1. Alcohol

Possession and/or consumption of alcoholic beverages and/or their containers BY ANY STUDENT is prohibited in all residence halls and on Cumberland University property regardless of age. Residents who return to the hall and appear to be in an intoxicated state will be subject to University action. Residents are held liable for their visitors who violate this policy. Checks for alcohol and illegal drugs will be conducted by the university at any time given probable cause. Please refer to the Student Conduct Code in the Student Handbook.
