Process Steps or Stages

1. Group Counseling

What happens:

The Counseling Center offers group therapy for a variety of concerns. These groups are
offered on an as-needed basis and dependent upon the numbers of participants being sufficient to form the group.

A group file is made at the beginning of each semester for each group, and is kept in the front of the client files in the filing cabinet. The case notes are integrated into the clients’ individual files as soon as possible. The group sessions attended are recorded on the client’s Treatment Record.
