Process Steps or Stages

1. Couples Counseling

What happens:

Couples counseling is available at the Counseling Center. As with individual therapy, any cases that are suspected to require more intervention than 10-12 sessions will be referred to an outside counselor. Married students are eligible for couples counseling if one of the partners fits the Counseling Center’s eligibility criteria for individual services. Unmarried students are eligible only if both partners fit such criteria, due to liability constraints.
