RN to BSN

Cumberland University's Online RN-BSN program is designed for the working nurse. Nurses with an Associate's Degree or Diploma in nursing, meeting the admissions requirements, will have the opportunity to continue working their current work schedule while finishing their BSN Degree. The RN-BSN program will prepare the RN with an education focused on: a) the future of the nursing profession, b) addressing current trends in healthcare, and c) providing a foundation for graduate education. There are no required clinicals for this program. Students will, however, complete course projects using their work environments and communities.

Entry Requirements:

  • $50 Application fee.
  • 2 years work experience as a RN.
  • Current valid registered nurse license without restriction in student's resident state.
  • Currently employed as a RN.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with associate degree or diploma with a 2.0 GPA.
  • Acceptance into the University.
Documentation Needed:
  • Official transcripts from all schools attended
  • Proof of 2 years work experience as a RN
  • Proof of current employment as a RN
  • Proof of current unrestricted RN license
  • Students must have taken BIO 203, BIO 203L, BIO 213, and BIO 214.
