PSY 363 Abnormal Psychology

An introduction to the diagnosis, study, and treatment of psychological disorders. Emphasis will be placed on the etiology, prognosis, and prevalence of the major mental disorders recognized by the American Psychological Association. The course covers major categories of psychiatric diagnoses including Anxiety, Mood, Eating, Sexual, Substance-Related, Personality, and Schizophrenia-Spectrum Disorders.
