POS 262 Crit Analy Legislat Process

This course offers a functional study of the legislative bodies and the process of legislation, covering the organization of Congress, operation of the committee system, procedures, bill drafting, and controls over legislative policy-making. The course is a preparatory course designed for majors and Social Studies concentrators, emphasizing enhanced development of analytical and research skills. Open to HIS/POS majors and Social Studies concentrators, or with permission of the instructor. (US) (L10)
