MAT 105 Explor Geometry/Measurmt/Data

This course is an activity-oriented approach in the exploration of geometry and measurement for students preparing to be elementary school teachers. With an emphasis on inquiry and visualization, the topics investigated include symmetry, circles, polygons, similarity, measurement, area, perimeter, etc. Appropriate tools and manipulatives for conceptual development and exploration are utilized.Open to Childhood, SEED, Early Childhood, ECE/Special Education (Non-Math Concentrators) only.
