MAT 100 Explor in Number Elem Educ

This course is an activity-oriented approach in the exploration of number and numeration for students preparing to be elementary school teachers. With an emphasis on understanding underlying structures of number concepts, the topics investigated include place value, number properties, arithmetic operations, fractions, etc. Appropriate tools and manipulatives for conceptual development and exploration are utilized.Open to Childhood, SEED, Early Childhood.
