BUS 362 Human Resource Management

This course analyzes the problems, strategies and procedures used to assess and manage human resources in contemporary organizations. Special attention will be given to: problems in evaluating abilities and performance; effective recruitment and selection; motivation techniques; developing the organization's human resources. Emphasis is placed on the dynamic environment of employment law and the quantitative models used to assist the manager in the decision process. COURSE OFFERED EVERY FALL. Prerequisite: BUS 246.
