ART 113 Drawing 1

This course provides an introduction to skills necessary to effectively translate visual perception into two-dimensional language of observational drawing. Emphasis is placed on the relation of foreshortening and space through an understanding of structure. Various drawing media, methods and subjects are explored as a means of acquiring knowledge and experiencing drawing as an expressive medium. Critical thinking and problem solving skills will be developed through analysis and dialogue. Materials fee. (L05)
