This course will provide an overview of the theoretical, psychological, and cultural perspectives of death, dying, and bereavement. Topics include attachment and loss throughout the life cycle; grief, mourning, and bereavement; helping the bereaved cope; hospice care; aid in dying; assisted suicide; legal issues; suicide.
