ENG 324 Digital Literature

This course will explore what new media theories and the concept of hypertext have to offer literary criticism while simultaneously considering what literary criticism can bring to understanding and reading hypertext. Networked novels, nonlinear short stories, hypertext literature, and interactive storytelling will be the focus of this class. Prerequisites: ENG 112 or 114 and two literature courses at the 200-level. Fulfills writing-intensive requirement.
