CSC 469 Advanced Databases

This class will expand on knowledge of relational database management systems. The course topics include PL/pgSQL basic syntax, variables, data types, cursors, creating and using stored procedures, triggers and debugging. The class will also cover implementation of relational database systems including a class project in which a database system is implemented by students. In addition, we will discuss the algorithmic reasoning that motivates database dseign decisions. Prerequisite: CSC 321.
