TEC 220 Manufacturing Processes

This course will cover the construction, purpose, and operation of all standard machine tools and special high production machine tools. It includes a survey of primary processes, use of hand tools, and precision measuring instruments. Laboratory sessions include demonstration of textbook topics, manufacturing shop safety, planning for the manufacture of components, hands-on operation of machine tools, machining, and inspection of finished items.
