SEE 350 Developmental Assessment of Young Children

Assessment practices with young children in the cognitive, communication, social, motor, and self-care domains are presented. Emphasis is placed on observational methodologies, using developmental, criterion-referenced and standardization instruments, as well as curriculum-based assessment. Information is linked to Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP's), Individual Education Plans (IEP's) and instruction. Prerequisites: EPY 245, SED 146, CMD 235. Fall
