Policy Provisions

1. Online Classroom Policy

•The primary purpose of the Online Classroom is to provide students and faculty with interactive library instruction.
•Although most library instruction takes place during the first eight weeks of the semester, sessions are scheduled throughout the term. These sessions will take priority over all other uses of the classroom.
•When the classroom is not being used for library instruction, the classroom may be scheduled by teaching faculty for single session, hands on instruction.
•No semester-long classes will be scheduled in the classroom
•The classroom may not be reserved for student group study sessions.
•Students may still use the computers in the lab for research purposes when there is not a class scheduled. Any scheduled classes will be posted outsides the door of the classroom.

To schedule the Online Classroom, please call the Vise Library front desk at 615-547-1299.
