SPA 326 Intro to Translation&Interpret

This course provides an introduction to the fields of Translation and Interpretation as viable career options. Methods, techniques and problems involved in translation and interpretation Spanish <> English will be covered, as well as the role of technology in the industry. Students will begin to build professional materials, including a translation/interpretation resume, become active in online professional associations and complete pro-bono projects. Prerequisite: SPA 265 or documented intermediate mid level.
