SPA 102 Culture in Action

A continuation of SPA 101. A proficiency-based approach to the elementary structures, expressions and vocabulary of the Spanish language, with a significant focus on cultural aspects and/or current events of the Spanish speaking world. A student who is interested in having some meaningful experience with the language should take the two semesters of elementary Spanish in consecutive semesters. Students with more than two consecutive years of high school Spanish may not take SPA 102. Prerequisite: SPA 101 or equivalent. Fall, Spring (L02).
