PBH 496 Seminar in Global Health

This class is designed to look at health differences across the globe and within communities. The topic will vary by semesters and will include topics such as Aging, Environmental Health, Infectious Disease, Maternal and Child Health, as well as others. Regardless of the topic, the class will include a look at the forces that create differences in health (the demographic, epidemiologic, and urban transitions) along with a critical look at the policies directed at issues. Fulfills writing-intensive requirement.
