PBH 260 Urban & Community Health

This course is an analysis of urban development and community structure. We will concentrate on how communities develop and change and the effect on the people within the community in terms of sense of quality of life and health. Contributing factors such as social class, inequality, and racism will be examined. Special attention will be given to quality of life within inner city neighborhoods and rural areas.
