IEC 230 Found Erly Chld Education

The historical and philosophical foundations of early childhood education will be explored and connected to current issues in early childhood education. Early childhood program models will be examined. The course will emphasize home, school, and family connections and an appreciation of student diversity. Professional standards for early childhood educators will be explored. Five supervised field experience hours are required for this course.
