ESC 106L Space Exploration Lab

The laboratory component of the course will provide online NASA simulations to explore the physical principles of space exploration of the planetary systems and beyond the solar system. In addition, Phet (Physics Educational Technology) simulations of will be used to study the basic physics of space flight. Finally, the Free Orbiter Space Flight simulator will be employed to simulate rocket launch, orbit and landing, including the space shuttle and lunar lander. (L09)
