CSD 100 Survey of Comm Sci & Disorders

This course introduces students to the nature and types of speech, language, and hearing problems in children and adults. The wide-range of disabilities that result in communication disorders and the impact of diversity on communication will be discussed. Guided observation experiences will be used to explore areas of the profession. The importance of collaborative relationships among professionals who assist individuals with special needs is also explored. Fall, Spring
