CHM 190 Gen Chemistry 1

This course introduces students to the principles of chemistry. Students will learn atomic theory, stoichiometry, periodicity, chemical bonding, electronic structure of atoms, molecular orbital theory, thermochemistry, gases, liquids, solids, and solutions. CHM 190L Laboratory required. A suitable score on the math placement exam is required. High school chemistry is highly recommended. Fall, Spring (L09)
