BIO 242 Terrestrial Ecology

An introduction to the interactions between plants, animals and their environment. Topics include the relationships between soils, climate, and other factors which determine community structure. Biotic interactions such as competition and predation are included. Environmental concerns such as habitat fragmentation and remediation are covered with an emphasis on the issues related to the Albany Pinebush.Prerequisites: BIO 191 or Chem 191. Fall
