CSL 553 Group Counseling & Dynamics

This course will focus on the theory and skills associated with facilitating groups in a variety of school and community settings. Counselors may work in a variety of settings in which they may be in the role of group facilitator, group counselor, group member or consultant. This course will provide a theoretical understanding of group dynamics and the techniques associated with the application of these principals to practical situations. The course includes the opportunity for students to participate in a small experiential group experience. Pre-requisite: CSL 500. (Fall, Spring, Summer)
