MAT 145 Math Themes for Liberal Arts

Math Topics for Liberal Arts Fall Topics:MATH FOR SPORTS AND GAMES: Designed for the liberal arts student, this course will introduce students to the use of mathematics, statistics and probability in sports and games. In addition to calculating and analyzing sports records, ranking and scoring systems and some game strategy concepts will be included. Technology will be used to evaluate and display data. Each student will complete an original end-of-semester project incorporating skills learned in class.
