ENG 314 Writing Drama

Creating playscripts in various styles and formats, with numerous specialized assignments, in-class critiques, readings, and the compilation of a final one-act script and portfolio of work. Students develop their pieces through workshop participation. Knowledge of the genre and college-level creative writing experience expected. Fulfills writing-intensive requirement. Prerequisites: ENG 105 and 200-level English or Communications writing course, or consent of the instructor based on writing sample.
