Student Purchased Book Return Policy

Students are allowed to return books in original condition for a full refund by the Friday after the drop/add date of each semester. This policy is noted on the bottom of each receipt. If a student has paid with a check and this date comes before the 15-day waiting period, the student is given the opportunity to return the text on the day after the 15-day waiting period expires. If the text is not in original condition the student is advised of book buyback held at the end of every semester or in special cases upper administration is contacted for permission to return. If the student does not have the original receipt and the receipt cannot be located within CU records, the student is given the option to exchange the text for other goods or return for store credit.
