1. Graduate Studies Mission Statement

The mission of the Graduate Studies Program at Cumberland University is to provide programs that augment academic preparation for those individuals who have or may assume positions of leadership in their chosen professions. The graduate programs promote academic integrity and encourage scholarly pursuits that are designed to enhance professional performance. These programs have been developed to improve business and community leadership, professionalism, and public service in the region


2. Program Mission Statement

The mission of the Master of Science in Public Service Management degree program is to provide graduate education to current and potential managers employed by state and local governmental entities and not-for-profit organizations and agencies through academic course work in the broad areas of human relations, management, and research.
