CHEM 111 General Chemistry I

This course is a study of matter, measurement, modern atomic theory, stoichiometry, chemical reactions, gas laws, atomic structure, quantum theory, electron configurations and chemical bonding, the periodic table, and molecular geometry of molecules. Three hours of lecture. Students must take MATH 111 as a co-requisite for this course if they have not already successfully completed it.
