Textbooks and Supplies
CU has partnered with BBA Textbook Brokers to provide textbooks and materials needed for classes with more options. Course materials are available in a variety of formats: eBooks, new, used and an option to rent. Books may be ordered online at bookstore.cumberland.edu approximately one month prior to and in person (2nd Floor, Labry Hall) for approximately two weeks at the beginning of each semester. Payment may be made with credit card and in person with cash or check. After becoming official, students may also use financial aid credit balances with amounts preloaded with BBA; no paper vouchers are required. The amount available is shown on the student statement as a pending available amount which does not affect the refund process. When financial aid funds are received, the pending amount is removed and only actual charges for books purchased are added to the student account. Books may be ordered online prior to arriving on campus. Books will be ready for pick up at the bookstore location on 2nd floor of Labry Hall upon arriving.
