HHP 400 Health Issues

The scope of the school health program, characteristics of the well child, and deviations from normal health and development are discussed. The course also includes the healthful school environment, disease prevention and control, home and school safety, first aid with cardiopulmonary resuscitation and treatment for choking, some aspects of good personal health, and a survey of drugs.
