CST 399 Certification/MOOC II

In building on to CST 398, the purpose of this course is to allow the student to take computer science related examinations (administered by third parties) to become professionally certified in any of many available areas such as those certificates offered by Microsoft or Redhat Linux. In addition, a student may take an online course (MOOC) in computational science offered at another institution. Upon successful completion of either of these one semester credit hour will be provided. A maximum of two credit hours may be attained within the CST degree. Weekly status updates will be provided by the student to a member of the CST faculty.
