CRJ 312 Digital Forensics

This is an introductory course designed to familiarize students with the concepts of cyber forensics. The student will learn how to track a cyber offender, the basics of hard drives and storage media, encryption, data hiding, hostile code, electronic toolkit, investigating Windows computers, the basics of Unix computers, compromising a Unix host, and preparing a cyber forensics case for arrest and prosecution.
