CHEM 311 Organic Chemistry I

This course is the study of organic compounds and their reactions. Topics include: aliphatic compounds, nomenclature, synthesis, stereochemistry, alkenes, alkynes, alkyl halides, and nucleophilic substitution vs. elimination reaction mechanisms. Three hours of lecture.
