POR 102 Culture in Action

A continuation of POR 101. A proficiency-based approach to the elementary structures, expressions and vocabulary of the Portuguese language, with a significant focus on cultural aspects and/or current events of the Russian speaking world. A student who is interested in having some meaningful experience with the language should take the two semesters of elementary Portuguese in consecutive semesters. Students with more than two consecutive years of high school Portuguese may not take POR 102. Prerequisite: POR 101 or equivalent. (L02)
