ENV 112 Environmental Science

(Cross-listed with BIO 112) This course is an introduction to environmental science. This course will survey the major environmental problems of today and how science informs our understanding of these problems. Possible solutions, strategies to manage our environment, and the intersection of science and society will be discussed. This course is a required course for Environmental Science majors. It is also appropriate for non-majors seeking to fulfill their L09 requirement. BIO/ENV112L Laboratory required. A suitable score on the math placement exam or permission of the instructor is required. Offered as needed. (L09)
