CEP 081 Current Events

The objective of this course is to introduce students to events occuring in the local, national and international community via the news media, and to further explore the context of those events. Students will have the opportunity to analyze news stories and to determine how societal events and trends may impact their own lives. The course is largely discussion based, providing an outlet for students to observe and discuss the news with their peers.
