CEP 029 International Cultures

The objective of this course is to expose students to a variety of different cultures and to foster a better understanding of the diverse nature of the world in which we all live. Students will learn about world geography, as well as other nations' religious beliefs and customs, languages, cuisines, and political ideologies. Special emphasis will be placed on learning how to interact with people from different backgrounds and treating all people will respect and understanding. The cousre will also explore immigrant and refugee populations in Albany and the United States.
