ART 491 Gallery Management

Gallery Management is a hands-on experience to familiarize students with the responsibilities of managing an art gallery with major emphasis on exhibition planning, design and installation. Students are encouraged to accept responsibility to work cooperatively as a team and independently to follow through on assigned tasks. Attendance at all scheduled gallery meetings, receptions and lectures is required to receive a grade of PASS. This course can be taken for 1 or 2 credits and repeated additional semesters for more art elective credits. Open to art majors.
