ART 490 Internship in Art

Internship in Art serves as a meaningful learning experience that takes place outside the Art Department and within the structure of a professional placement in the art field. Internships are designed to provide eligible students with practical experience in the arts, and are intended to be as academically rigorous as a semester in the classroom. On-site observations and a final assessment of student learning outcomes will be reviewed for proficiency at the conclusion of the internship. Faculty recommendation is required. Internship in Art is by permission of the Art Department Chair. Grading is pass/fail only.
